Annual International Cup – Summer Outdoor & Winter Indoor

More Than A Tournament. A Celebration of Community.

Annual International Cup is More Than A Smile Foundation's signature event, bringing together youth, families, and communities from more than 20 states and countless cultures through the universal language of sport. What began as a grassroots soccer tournament has grown into one of the region's largest multicultural youth sporting events that happen in the summer and fall.

For one weekend, the field becomes a place where competition builds friendships, diversity becomes our greatest strength, and every player belongs. Teams representing dozens of countries, cultures, and languages come together to celebrate leadership, teamwork, and community.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2026, we continue expanding opportunities for all young people; including the growth of girls' divisions that reflect our commitment to equity and inclusion in sports.

    Somali Bantu Basketball Tournament

    Expanding the Game. Expanding Opportunity.

Somali Bantu Basketball Tournament was inspired by the success and community impact of our Annual International Cup. As more young people expressed interest in basketball, we recognized an opportunity to expand access to sports and create another pathway for youth to connect, grow, and lead.

Not every young person finds their passion on a soccer field. Some find it on the basketball court.

This tournament was created to ensure more youth have access to safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive spaces where they can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience the power of teamwork.

More than a competition, the Somali Bantu Basketball Tournament is a celebration of community, culture, and belonging. It brings together youth, families, coaches, volunteers, and community members to strengthen relationships while promoting physical wellness, positive mentorship, and healthy lifestyles.

    Why It Matters

Sports are more than games; they are powerful tools for building confidence, resilience, friendships, and leadership.

By expanding beyond soccer, More Than A Smile Foundation is creating more opportunities for youth to discover where they belong, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.

Whether on the field or on the court, our mission remains the same: to remove barriers, create opportunities, and empower the next generation of community leaders.
