The primary purpose of More Than a Smile Foundation is to advocate for the rights, equality, and representation of refugees, immigrants, and low-income families in Kentucky. We provide tutoring, mentorship, and mental health support services to minority communities, fostering academic excellence and self-empowerment.
Our journey at More Than a Smile Foundation began as a volunteer tutoring service organization offering tutoring in 2016.
We envision a society where diversity is celebrated, voices are heard, and everyone has the resources and support they need to flourish. Through our unwavering dedication and collaborative efforts, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Join the Giving Smiles Fundraiser to help families struggling to meet basic needs by donating to the More Than A Smile Foundation's toy drive, ensuring children receive new toys in time for Eid-al-Adha. Visit our Amazon wishlist to find out how you can spread joy and laughter to deserving children this festive season.

This is a comprehensive program designed to support students from kindergarten to college undergraduates in their academic and personal development journey. Through one-on-one mentoring sessions, our dedicated mentors guide students in setting goals, exploring career paths, and revamping their resumes to align with their aspirations.
Additionally, we prioritize mental health check-ins to ensure students have the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally. By empowering young minds, we aim to cultivate future leaders who will make a positive impact in their communities.
Transformative program designed to uplift and empower women within immigrant and refugee communities. Through engaging sessions and workshops, we equip women with essential tools and resources necessary for personal and professional growth.
We provide childcare services during sessions to ensure accessibility for all participants. By fostering a supportive environment and fostering skill development, we aim to promote gender equality and empower women to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
This is a collaborative effort focused on building strong and inclusive communities. Through a combination of ESL (English as a Second Language) classes and community engagement sessions, we strive to bridge cultural divides and promote understanding among diverse populations.
Our approach is centered on listening to the community to identify and address their specific needs, thereby fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity. By creating spaces for dialogue and mutual support, we aim to strengthen bonds within the community and empower individuals to actively contribute to their own and others' well-being.
We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of immigrants, refugees, and low-income families in Kentucky.
With your generous support, we can continue our mission of bringing smiles and empowerment to these communities through mentorship, tutoring, financial literacy, and digital literacy programs.
